SEWING I
As an examination for my Sewing 1 subject, I was tasked to create a pattern for a simple silhouette and then turn it into a complete garment.
With free time at hand, I decided to take it up a notch by adding embellishments and brass zippers to give the wearer the freedom to determine where she wants the slits to be.
The 10-piece collection was shown during Fashion Institute of Design & Arts' graduation fashion show on September 30, 2016.

INNOVATIVE MATERIALS
Innovative Materials is a subject in Fashion Insitute of Design & Arts wherein students are encouraged to use unconventional materials to create wearable garments. In this project, we were tasked to create a full garment using only paper and other paper-based materials.
Different types of paper were used to construct this wearable garment, namely:
-
Coated two sides(C2S) paper
-
Cartolina
-
Paper twine
-
Japanese paper
-
Crepe paper
Truly making the garment constructed with 100% paper.
